These terms apply whenever you use newplus, operated by BYERETA-TECH. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
You must be at least 18 years old to use newplus. By registering, you confirm that the date of birth you provide is accurate and that you meet this requirement.
You're responsible for keeping your phone number and PIN secure and for anything that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us right away using the details at the bottom of this page.
Profile information you provide (name, photo, date of birth, district) must be accurate and must be your own, impersonating someone else or creating a profile for another person without their consent is not allowed.
Posting and browsing listings, and chatting, requires an active monthly subscription (UGX 5,000/month). You can pay via mobile money (manually verified) or through our payment processor, Pesapal.
Subscriptions do not renew automatically, when your subscription period ends, you'll need to pay again to keep using those features. your account and past conversations aren't deleted when a subscription lapses; you simply won't be able to browse or start new chats until you resubscribe.
Refunds: subscription payments are generally non-refundable once processed, except where required by applicable law or where we determine, at our discretion, that a payment was made in error (e.g. a duplicate charge).
newplus is a place to connect with people about land and second-hand cars for sale, we don't arrange, inspect, or take part in the sale itself. Any agreement about a listing (the item, price, condition, and how payment happens) is made directly between the seller and the buyer, entirely outside newplus, but all the discussions can take place on newplus.app.
We do not verify that a listing is genuine, that a seller actually owns or can sell the land or vehicle, or that a buyer can pay. Use the same judgment you would with any private sale: meet in a safe public place, verify ownership documents (such as a land title or vehicle logbook) before paying, agree on the details in writing, and be cautious about sending money or making payments upfront.
newplus is not a party to any agreement you make with another user, and is not responsible for the quality, condition, legality, ownership, or payment of any land or vehicle listed through the app, or for any dispute between a seller and buyer.
When using newplus, you agree not to:
We may remove content, suspend, or permanently deactivate any account that violates these terms, without prior notice, in order to protect other users and the service.
You're responsible for the messages, photos, voice notes, and listings you share. You keep ownership of anything you post; by sharing it on newplus you allow us to store and transmit it as needed to operate the service (for example, delivering your message to the person you sent it to).
As described in our Privacy Policy, chat messages, photos, and voice notes are automatically deleted after 60 days, and listings expire after 24 hours.
We may deactivate your account if we believe you've violated these terms, misused the app, or if required by law. You can delete your own account at any time from within the app.
newplus is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable and secure, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We're not responsible for the conduct of other users, on or off the app.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BYERETA-TEC and newplus are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including interactions with other users.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use newplus after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
